Dermatology, Aesthetics and Laser — Women

We start by diagnosing the problem, not by selling the session.

Why this section is different

Most of what is sold in this field is sold by the name of the procedure: "a radiance session", "filler", "laser". The patient pays for a name, then discovers that what she bought does not address her problem at all.

The reason is that a single procedure suits one condition and not another. Filler replaces volume but does not lift skin. PRP improves skin quality but does not fill a hollow. A peel treats the surface but does not reach deep pigmentation. When the procedure is chosen before the problem is identified, both the sessions and the money are wasted.

So we work in the opposite direction: we identify the type of problem and its level first, then choose what suits it — and the answer may be that your case needs a blood test rather than a cosmetic session.

The Specialist

Dr Nabiha Ahmed El-Sharnouby

Dermatology and Aesthetics Specialist

Medical supervision of the dermatology and laser section

  • She personally performs cosmetic injectables, PRP, mesotherapy, dermapen, medical hair treatment, tattoo removal and fractional laser sessions.

  • Every case begins with an assessment that identifies the type of problem and its level before the procedure is chosen — not the other way round.

  • She records the trade name and quantity of the material used in your file after every session.

  • She requests blood tests before starting hair treatment sessions, and does not begin before the results.

  • The laser section operates under her medical supervision, and men's sessions within it are performed by a male technician.

This approach is what explains the length of the first appointment here: diagnosis takes longer than selling, and it saves you sessions you do not need.

What it means to be treated by a specialist

The person who examines you is the one who decides the procedure, performs it and explains its limits — not a member of staff who sells a package before the doctor's turn comes.

And that you are told "this is not your treatment" when that is the case, rather than sold a course of sessions that cannot reach your problem.

Three sentences we hold to

We record the trade name and quantity of the material in your file after every session — and ask for the same at any clinic you visit.

We do not promise an outcome, and we explain the limits of every procedure before you pay rather than after.

If your case calls for something we do not offer, we say so and refer you.

The devices we use

DeviceTypeUsed for
GentleMax ProDual wavelength 755 + 1064Hair removal across all skin tones
GentleLase Pro755 wavelengthHair removal for fair to medium skin
Lutronic eCO2FractionalScars, acne scarring and skin resurfacing
SpectraQ-switchedTattoo removal, freckles and pigmentation

Your skin tone is established at the first appointment using a recognised medical scale and recorded in your file with its date — so it is not re-estimated at every visit and does not vary with whoever is treating you.

What we do not offer — said before you ask

  • Skin tightening devices and surgical procedures for marked laxity.

  • The precise per-scar procedure for very narrow, deep acne pits.

  • Hair transplantation.

In these cases we say so and refer you to the appropriate provider, rather than substituting what we happen to have.

Questions and answers

Questions repeatedly asked about the dermatology and aesthetics section for women at Hokama Najd.

With an assessment appointment. That is the normal situation for most people who come, which is why we do not ask you to choose a session when booking.

Injectables, PRP, mesotherapy, fractional laser and tattoo removal are performed by the consultant. Laser and skincare sessions are carried out under her medical supervision.

Yes, and it is recorded in your file with its quantity after every session. You have a right to ask for this at any clinic.

No. The price depends on the material, the quantity and the area, and is set after assessment — a figure published without an assessment would not be accurate for your case.

Yes, provided the appropriate wavelength is used, and we have a dual-wavelength device for exactly that. Your skin tone is established before the device is chosen.

Your results and images go into your medical file only, and are not used for any marketing purpose without separate written consent — and declining does not affect your care.
