Hair Loss — for Women
Before any session, we find the cause. Much hair loss in women comes from a deficiency or hormonal imbalance that gets corrected, not hair that needs injecting.
What is the problem?
Hair loss in women very often has a correctable cause: low iron stores (ferritin), thyroid dysfunction, postpartum shedding, or a hormonal imbalance linked to PCOS.
Sometimes the cause is immune-related: smooth round patches that suddenly appear on the scalp, known as alopecia areata.
Starting cosmetic sessions before the cause is known means paying twice — once for sessions that do not treat the problem, and once for the time lost that could have gone toward the right treatment.
How we work here
A clinical scalp examination to identify the pattern of loss.
Required tests before any session: iron stores (ferritin) · vitamin D · vitamin B12 · zinc · thyroid function · hormonal tests where PCOS is suspected.
Sessions do not begin before the test results are seen, because the treatment may be correcting the deficiency itself rather than injections.
Hair plasma (PRP), scalp mesotherapy and medically-directed treatment — performed personally by Dr Nabiha Ahmed El-Sharnouby once the cause is identified.

What we tell you before you pay
Results take months, not days. Hair follows a slow growth cycle, and the real assessment comes after several months of following the plan.
Staying on the plan matters more than the number of sessions itself — stopping early weakens the result even if the earlier sessions were correct.
When not to wait for a distant appointment
- A bare patch expanding rapidly within days — possible alopecia areata that needs prompt assessment.
- Shedding accompanied by other symptoms such as rapid weight change or persistent fatigue — may point to a thyroid issue.
- Postpartum shedding that continues beyond about six months without improvement — needs a medical check, not cosmetic sessions alone.
What we do not offer — said before you ask

We do not offer hair transplantation. If your case needs it after assessment, we say so and refer you rather than selling unrelated sessions.
We do not promise new growth before the lab-confirmed cause is corrected.
In these cases we say so and refer you to the appropriate provider, rather than substituting what we happen to have.
Questions and answers
Questions women repeatedly ask about hair loss at Hokama Najd.
Yes. Without them we treat the appearance of hair loss and leave its cause untouched, and the results can change the plan entirely.
Often, yes, if it is close to your delivery date. But if it continues past about six months, it needs a check to rule out other causes such as iron deficiency or a thyroid issue.
After several months of following the plan, since hair follows a slow growth cycle. We do not judge the result after a few weeks.
Yes, after hormonal tests identify the imbalance, and treatment may include a prescribed component alongside scalp sessions.
No. If you need one after assessment, we say so and refer you, rather than selling you alternative sessions that will not solve the problem.
It is determined after assessment and the test results. We do not give a number before knowing the pattern and the cause.
