How we treat it here
The session is performed exclusively by a male technician, in a closed room, and no one else enters during it.
Areas not being treated are covered throughout the session.
A written consent form is signed beforehand, setting out what will and will not be treated.
The same devices used in every other session, with settings chosen according to your skin tone.
A commitment we keep literally
If the male technician is not present on the day of your appointment, the appointment is postponed and no substitute performs it.
This is not administrative politeness — it is a written rule in the clinic, and keeping it matters more to us than completing an appointment.
When the appointment is postponed
- Active inflammation, a wound or inflamed spots in the area.
- Ulceration, discharge or symptoms requiring diagnosis — referred to the doctor before any laser session.

A quick sting with simultaneous cooling. The area is more sensitive than others and the settings are adjusted accordingly.
Shave the area with a razor, avoid plucking and waxing, and avoid irritating creams in the preceding days.
Mild redness that settles within hours to a day. Avoid steam, sauna, heavy sweating and tight clothing for a day or two.
It varies with hair density and colour, and is determined after assessment.
